Did you know your child may be eligible for $1000 worth of dental treatment through the Medicare funded Child Dental Benefits Schedule. If you have a child between the ages of 2 and 17 years and you receive benefits such as family tax benefit part A, your children may be eligible. Our practice is currently bulk-billing treatment for eligible patients, call us today to find out more.
If you are interested in a payment plan, we offer interest-free payment plans through ZipMoney. They have a simple, online approval process you will have to complete to see if you are eligible. There is a small monthly fee to pay if you have an outstanding balance with them, so please do read their terms and conditions to see if it is right for you.
If you would like to use ZipMoney at our clinic, you would apply through their website for the amount you think you will require and setup your user account. At your dental appointment, when you go to reception to pay, you would login to your account on your smartphone, generate a unique payment code and give the code to the receptionist. ZipMoney pays us for the appointment and you pay ZipMoney back over the time you have selected with them.
There are many different funds available offering private health insurance for dental
treatment. If you are financially disciplined there is no doubt you will be considerably
better off if you have no extras cover and place the extras premium in your own saving
account to be used for ancillary type health expenses. The only exception to this rule
would be if you have a large family (more than 3 kids) with considerable ancillary health
needs. However, if your preference is to have extras health cover, at this practice we
have joined HCF’s more for teeth program. You will get the best value for your extras
premium at this practice if you are a HCF member.
